In March 1955, he married Evelyn Boese, They have four daughters and eleven grandchildren.
From 1955 until 1974, they served actively at Calvary Baptist Church in Midland, Michigan while Reuben worked in the computer field at Dow Corning.
In 1974, he quit his job and went into full time ministry as an assistant Pastor in churches in Indiana.
In 1979, they started Living the Truth Ministries. Since then they have averaged nearly 70 three-day Biblical Living Conferences across the USA and Europe each year. The emphasis has been three–fold—“Living the Truth”, “Knowing the God of the Word” and “Strength in Adversity”. Over 2000 meetings have been held in over 1200 different churches during the past thirty years. |
